The manufacturer has unveiled the VIA EPIA-P900, a "motherboard" in Pico-ATX carrying a dual-core X2 VIA Eden 1 GHz and a graphics chipset VIA VX900H.
A mini HTPC?.
Displaying very small dimensions (10 cm x 7.2 cm), this card still has all the necessary connectors, two SATA ports, two SO-DIMM slots (for up to 4 GB of DDR3 memory), an audio controller 10 channels, an HDMI port, VGA and LVDS connector. Gigabit Ethernet is also present, and a total of seven USB 2.0 connectors.
The engine ChromotionHD 2.0 integrated chipset is in turn physically capable of decoding H.264 video streams, MPEG-2, VC-1 and WMV9, all in Full HD. This platform could therefore perfectly suitable as a mini-HTPC. Remains to know the price and date of availability
