Lync Microsoft Office for Mac Arrives

2'11 Lync for Mac users is available from: Office for Mac SKU 2011 Volume Licensing, Office for Mac Standard 2011, other Microsoft licensing programs and you can even purchase application volume license as a separate SKU.

Customers who purchase Office for Mac Standard 2011 from October 1, 2011 onwards, and will have its office suite that includes Lync, instead of Communicator for Mac

Customers of Office for Mac 2011 with Software Assurance coverage as of October 2011, can use Communicator 2011 for Mac or choose to upgrade to Lync for Mac 2011.
