Sandra Bullock thought to quit acting after the scandal that erupted from the breakup with Jesse James.

The actress says she likes to feel "permanently damaged," site radaronline.com.

In 2010, Bullock had to face the news that her husband had an affair with model Michelle McGee as well as with other women. The scandal was revealed just days after Sandra won the Oscar for best actress for her role in The Blind Side and in his speech thanked James yet.

"I honestly do not think it was at the point where you want to work or want to leave me ... I'm not ready, but the opportunity was stronger than my head," says the actress about her work with Stephen Daldry in the film about the September 11 2001.
